A classical ensemble forecast modelling to predict the future distribution of the Corsican Nuthatch would have been to use the pine ranges, obtained with TSS thresholds, as variables associated with climatic variables, and to apply a TSS threshold to the obtained suitability value for the bird.
SMCE techniques were then applied to combine the criteria, and obtain a suitability map of the study region.
Suitability mapping was carried out separately for both rainfed and irrigated rice (236 and 349 presence cells, respectively), and posteriorly merged to obtain overall suitability maps of cultivated rice in Colombia.
