So, when we observed this data we started checking further and did what we always do before we begin any litigation, which is we then conducted an investigation.
Again, we did not observe this effect (data not shown).
As partial validation we note that the heterogeneity of some of our exonic blocks is also observed in this data set (unpublished observations).
There are several things to observe from this data.
The first is that the pre-nominal position, although not the most common, is nonetheless quite commonly observed in this data.
Heat sensitization by capsaicin explained 63% of the total variance and produced the larges effects observed in this data according to Cohen's d = 2.6.
However, amplification-based sequencing platforms suffer from a sharp drop in detection of differential expression below 1000 nt, likely due to their difficulties in detecting short transcripts [31], that is not observed with this data set.
Thus, spacer deletions alone cannot explain the extent of ODEs observed in this data set.
Similar evidence for greater preference for yPFTase compared with rPFTase was also observed in this data.
