TPEN (10 μM) was then added to the well and a rapid drop in cellular FluoZin-3 fluorescence was observed, returning to baseline within 4 min (Fig. 1Di).
Figure 3 shows that overall, 64.4% of CCT beneficiaries registering in 2013 (from the programme start date, per Table 3, to 31st December 2013) were observed returning to the facility at least once before 31st March 2014.
Foragers were defined as bees observed returning to the hive with conspicuous pollen loads on their hind legs (returning from a foraging trip) every day during the observation period while doing no, or very little, brood care; nurses were bees observed caring for the brood, and doing no, or very little, foraging during this period (for more details, see [ 55]).
Furthermore, when 1 mg of NAC-HCPS was intravenously injected daily for 7 consecutive days, only minor increases for the values of GOT (glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase), GPT (glutamic-pyruvic transaminase), BUN (blood urea nitrogen), and Crea (creatinine) were observed, returning to normal values within 7 days after the final injection (data not shown).
The observed return to growth after 5 days, associated with re-expression of VSG221 (in the ES), is of particular concern.
Moreover, flies moving toward vertical walls nearly always moved onto the walls and were also less often observed returning back to the chamber floor.
Clinically, tachypnea and tachycardia were also observed, which returned to normal in about 12 min.
A small decrease in BP was observed which returned to baseline by 6 h: peak time/mean changes [mmHg (±SD): systolic (between 3 and 5 h) −2.49 (±8.63) and diastolic (between 4 and 5 h) −2.94 (±7.90)].
Interestingly, the colonic expression of chemerin positively correlated with the severity of DSS-induced colitis, as the chemerin expression peaked on day 8 when the highest scores of DAI and intestinal histopathology were observed and returned to the baseline levels on day 12 when the colitis completely resolved.
After a further 48 h recovery GUS activity in roots was observed to return to that observed at 0 h exposure.
