Ofoegbu (1985) in his study of the magnetic feature of the nearby Benue Trough, observed a magnetic anomaly on a dyke-like body.
We have observed a strong anomaly in the ion yield of C 60 Et n + at n = 32 (Fig. 3) which we have attributed to enhanced stability of the commensurate 1 × 1 phase, the cousin of the 3 × 3 phase on planar graphite.
At both sites, they also observed a subtle acoustic "anomaly," a faint reflection of something in the water that follows the contours of the seafloor below.
In the Thrace region, we observe a negative anomaly in the P and S models (Anomaly 6 in Fig. 3), which seem consistent with the known geologic composition of the area that is composed of the Late Tertiary deposit basin.
Many future plot points are introduced into the episode, such as Sayid observing a magnetical anomaly, main characters crossing paths (Sawyer is being arrested in the police station where Boone is filing a complaint) and Michael's box of drawings, which sets up the following episode, "Special".
However, we observed a single high-attenuation anomaly between the MTLAFS and MBMTL (Fig. 7a).
In the simulation results, we observed a dipping low-attenuation anomaly near the MBMTL, probably related to the slope of the lithological boundary.
In an earlier, small study based in the Entebbe Hospital maternity ward, Tann et al. (2005) observed a prevalence of congenital anomalies among neonates of 17 per 1000 births.
Interestingly, the authors observed a spectrum of craniofacial anomalies among embryos that survived chronic hypoxic conditions, suggesting that the phenotypes can be modified by the environment.
At a vinclozolin dose of 30 mg/kg body weight, we observed a rate of developmental anomalies of the reproductive tract that are consistent with the higher rate previously reported (Gray et al. 2001); this validates our exposure protocol.
During the data analysis, we observed a number of tags displaying anomalies such as spikes in their activity records.
