Subject:noun is a different tagmeme from Object:noun, as it is also a different tagmeme from Subject:pronoun.
The next type, composed of object noun and a present participle, as in the terms fact-finding, heart-rending (German herzzerreissend), life-giving (German lebenspendend), painstaking, and time-consuming, occurs rarely.

We found evidence that participants: a) were unimpaired on tasks probing knowledge about adjectives referring to dimension and physical properties, to human propensity and value, and to color, but b) showed substantial difficulty when asked to associate the same adjectives with object nouns.
