Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, 12 January 2010 – On January 7th and 8th, UNICEF started the delivery of 19.8 tones of nutrition kits, tents, prescription drugs, school in a box and recreation kits and water tanks to the department of Likouala, in Northern Congo, (Brazzaville).

It is feasible to include the MNA-SF and a nutrition resource kit within routine general practice, but further refinement of patients' electronic clinical records in general practice software would streamline this process.
UNICEF has provided relief supplies worth $360,000 – including health kits, nutrition supplies, midwifery kits and tarpaulin that are expected to benefit 5 million affected people.
The shipment includes health kits, nutrition supplies, midwifery kits and tarpaulins for families affected by weeks of monsoon rains and flooding around the country.
Initial supplies, including hygiene kits, nutrition items and recreation and psycho-social relief items have been given priority.
