We investigated the size of the CD4+CD28 null compartment and the TCR β-chain repertoire of expanded CD4+ clonotypes in 19 patients with RA, before the initiation of treatment with etanercept and after 2, 4 and 18 months of TNF-α blocking therapy by complementarity-determining region 3 (CDR3) length analysis (spectrotyping) in the BV6 and BV14 TCR families.

We compared the levels of neutrophil recruitment in the alveolar compartment of ADAM17-null and control mice.
We observed that soluble IL-6R levels were also significantly decreased in the alveolar compartment of ADAM17-null mice after LPS exposure (Fig. 2B), though this did not occur to nearly the same extent as TNF-α TNF-α
The greater reduction in neutrophil-tropic chemokines in the alveolar compartment of ADAM17-null mice implies a specific molecular process accounting for the lack of neutrophil transepithelial migration into the alveolar air spaces at the later time point in our study.
To explore this possibility, we evaluated retention of P0 in the enlarged LE/LY compartment of Fig4-null Schwann cells.
We then harvested cells in the axonal compartment from the gD null infection and determined the titer.
I/R leads to a nonsignificant decrease in CD62L expression in WT F4/80 cells, whereas a significant decrease in CD62L expression was observed in MC3R-null animals (Table 3), suggesting that the mononuclear phagocyte compartment is highly activated in the MC3R-null animals after I/R.
Interestingly, however, neutrophil recruitment to the alveolar compartment occurred earlier in ADAM17-null mice after exposure to LPS.
We infected cell bodies in the somal compartment with a complemented PRV gB null virus (PRV HF22A) and scored for infected cells in the axonal compartment using anti-VP5 and Hoescht staining (n = 3 chambers).
We infected cell bodies in the somal compartment with PRV GS442, a gD null mutant that expresses GFP (n = 3 chambers).
