During the early stages of apoptosis, Survivin relocates from the cytoplasm into the nucleus due the collapse of RanGTP gradient, whereas both the ProCaspase-3 activatedated cleaved Caspase-3 remains in the cytoplasm.
As the structure of the nucleus, during mitosis collapses [65], the nuclear subunits in our model will be eliminated during mitosis, followed by the formation of new nuclear subunits for the daughter cells.
Following vacuolar collapse, the nucleus was liberated and then shrunk, the aggregate of organelles stopped moving (Additional file 3), and the PM collapsed (Additional files 3, 5 and 6); the process from tonoplast rupture to PM collapse took approximately 20 minutes (Additional file 5).
In the remaining 138 cases there was no HER2 gene or CEN17 hybridization signal, or these samples showed collapsed nuclei.
When associated strictly with complete nucleus formation and concomitant chain collapse, folding is a well-defined two state event.
The key challenge facing Rutherford's model was that it was unstable: according to classical electrodynamics, the electron, which is an accelerated charged body, should radiate energy and so rapidly collapse into the nucleus.

The cytoskeleton of the treated cells also becomes amorphous, punctate and collapses around the nucleus itself (Figure 4 C).
At this point, in a single second, the core of a supermassive star can collapse until all the nuclei in all the atoms are touching, forming essentially one huge atomic nucleus, what we call a "neutron star".
