The remaining eight individuals with nuclear DNA assignment to Floreana, including the two females (CDRS106 & 107) currently housed with Lonesome George, possessed an "Española-like" haplotype only sampled in Puerto Bravo on northern Isabela Island [10].
Of particular note, CDRS047, the male with congruent mtDNA and nuclear DNA assignment to Floreana, is the likely half-sibling of CDRS044 co-housed in the "parental" pen, consistent with genotypic pairwise relatedness (rxy = 0.21) and the discrepancy in mtDNA haplotypes (Table 1).
In contrast to these patterns, individuals within the mtDNA haplotype clade that correspond to the recently described species, M. mamiratra, have nuclear STRUCTURE assignments identical to individuals of M. sambiranensis (Fig. 2, Table 2).
The large majority of C. gigas nuclear receptor assignments to subfamily groups were supported by high ML bootstrap scores (BS = 89-100) and Bayesian posterior probabilities (PP = 1).
This feature may be a consequence of the known poor reproducibility of intermediate-nuclear grade assignment by histopathologists [ 42] but also may reflect the biology of intermediate-grade DCIS.
The NMR protein structure determination commonly involves a series of steps, such as peak picking, chemical shift assignment, nuclear Overhauser effect (NOE) assignment and structural calculation [1].
Such a process is a prerequisite for resonance assignment, nuclear overhauser enhancement (NOE) distance restraint assignment, and structure calculation tasks.
After the spectra are collected, NMR structure determination usually involves several time-consuming steps, i.e. peak picking, chemical shift assignment, nuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy (NOESY) assignment and structure calculation (Wüthrich, 1986).
Currently, most NMR groups follow the standard process, proposed by Wüthrich (1986), which includes data collection, data processing, peak picking, resonance assignment nuclear Overhauser enhancement (NOE) peak assignment and finally, structure calculation.
Previously reported resonance assignments [ 10] were used to assign nuclear Overhauser effects (NOEs) from heteronuclear N-edited 3D nuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy (NOESY) and homonuclear 2D NOESY experiments.
