"Tower Hamlets has a very large economy by national standards, ranked 11th out of 408 local areas districts (LADs) in great Britain," says a 2007 report for London Councils, which also notes tip-top levels of productivity and "average workplace-based weekly earnings" close to "twice the national average". Sounds promising.
"The most common belief is that in England during the 16th century, tipping became a way to ensure prompt service," Sharon Fullen wrote in "The Complete Guide to Tips & Gratuities," noting that "tips" may have derived from the first letters of "to insure prompt service". "Brass urns with signs stating 'to insure promptitude' could be found in coffeehouses … and eventually in pubs," she wrote.
Students also built a course Wiki, essentially a community website, with lecture notes, tips of their own for the exercises, and supplementary content.
Its app is still in private beta, but it sounds like a way to annotate real-world locations with notes, tips, and photos for friends and other users.
The increased rate of local respiratory tract irritation noted with TIP is not unexpected with a high-payload powder formulation.
Observe what other people in your space are doing, and note their tips as well as what you think they're doing wrong or missing.
Activehours "clearly solves the cost problem," says Tom Feltner, Director of Financial Services at the Consumer Federation of America, noting that tips are "purely optional" and you aren't going to fork over triple digit interest rates.
So is that note tipped in by the dictionary's owner?
