Of note, emissions of many pollutants are high in the industry sector, in part due to the active manufacturing industry in the YRD and the lower penetration rate for pollution control technologies compared with the power sector. Figure 1 shows the annual average PM2.5 concentration in the YRD domain in the base case scenario.
