To normalize responses, each fly's response across IPIs was divided by its maximum response; these responses were subsequently averaged to generate the values presented in Figure 6L N.
At the end of each experiment, the cells were challenged with KCl (50 mM) to provide a maximum Ca2+ signal against which to normalize responses.
