The word 'noon-time' is not considered a standard word in written English.
It is more commonly used in informal or spoken language. A better alternative would be 'midday' or 'noon'. Example: We decided to have a picnic at noon-time. (less formal) Revised: We decided to have a picnic at midday. (more formal).
