I wrote the script and the character was a poet, probably because I'd spent some time with Nick Flynn, who's a poet, and I called Nick up and I said, "I've written a script about a woman who's a 70-something-year-old poet, who should I read to know who she would like?" He gave me a number of women poets and I read Eileen's stuff and it really struck me.
