Mainstream commentators have their own blogs and the posts on sites such as this are on the whole fresher and more egalitarian than the rather arid - if well intentioned - readers' corrections sections, which all too often are where apologies for inaccuracy get put for news errors, rather than real dialogue and two-way discussion.
