During this period, many of the energetic neutral atom spectra show a peak at 100 eV.

From the illustration in Figure5, it is clear that a LP to MVDR ratio spectrum can be used to identify the whisper segments in speech, since this ratio is expected to be high where the speech signal has significant harmonics in the higher frequency region than in the neutral speech spectrum.
This implies that demographic structure, such as that studied here, is difficult to detect with a classical measure of deviations from the standard neutral frequency spectrum.
This relaxation to the neutral haplotype spectrum is shown in Figure 2B.
We used patterns of polymorphism within each group to detect instances of selection causing departure from the neutral frequency spectrum.
