Neuropathic foot problems by glycemic status are listed in Table 3. Overall, 34 participants (7%) had neuropathy.
When evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic footwear in patients with neuropathic foot problems, patient feedback is inadequate because of the presence of neuropathy.
Therefore there is a significant lack of large, population-based data defining the size of the neuropathic pain problem and attempting to provide some explanations toward pain etiology.
OC patients have to deal with a range of treatment-related symptoms such as hematological side-effects, gastrointestinal problems, neuropathic pain, menstrual changes together with climacteric symptoms, and fertility issues [ 8- 10].
The earliest presenting symptoms are typically neuropathic pain and gastrointestinal problems, which can have a substantial impact on health-related quality of life.

With an estimated 33 million people living with HIV and more gaining access to ARV every day, the management of HIV-SN associated neuropathic pain is a problem of major global significance.
Neuropathic pain is a problem associated with and prevalent in many musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain [ 14], acute or chronic radiculopathy [ 12] and syndromes such as cervico-brachial pain syndrome [ 10, 15].
However, because antidepressant medication is prescribed for other problems, such as neuropathic pain [ 36, 37] or sedation, this also may have artificially increased the incidence rate, particularly among people with diabetes.
Neuropathic pain is a large clinical problem, not least such pain affecting lower extremities.
