The remaining galanin-IR neurons were distributed among galanin-negative nerve cell bodies forming large diffused ganglia (Figs. 2a, d, 3a).
Notably, MAC immunoreactivity extended also to LAM-negative nerve areas, which we identified to be axons as shown by the double immunolabeling of C9 with the axonal marker SMI31 (Fig. 5b).
Nerve density results were grouped into 3 categories: 1) negative, no nerve fascicles or nerve fibers, 2) weak expression, 1 to 10 nerve fascicles, and 3) moderate/strong expression, > 10 nerves fascicles.
Fifteen percent of samples were degenerate and negative for nerves and blood vessels, whilst 16%% of all samples were degenerate with nerves and blood vessels.
Analysis revealed that 15%% of all samples were degenerate and negative for nerves and blood vessels (NF200−/CD31−), whilst 16%% of all samples were degenerate with nerves and blood vessels (NF200+/CD31+) (Fig. 3a).
Tissues investigated for the presence of nerves (NF200) and blood vessels (CD31) were separated on the basis of grade of degeneration and whether they were positive or negative for nerves and/or blood vessels (Table 1, Fig. 3).
But after about 310 milliseconds, the words later remembered started to spark a negative potential, or nerve impulse, in the anterior parahippocampal gyrus that was about 50% stronger than the peak produced by forgotten words.
The SFI score is zero for normal animals and a negative value for nerve impairment.
Although ORIF has advantages of direct look and restoration of normal function, its application still limited by the potential negative effects of nerve damage, swelling, incomplete healing of the bone, increased pressure and blood clot [ 7].
Immunostaining for LAM and MAC were always negative in control nerves (Fig. 4a, b, respectively).
