To better understand the urgent needs at each individual school like SN 28, UNICEF in partnership with the Ministry of Education and other partners has just deployed a team of university students to do a Rapid Assessment of Learning Spaces (RALS).
In addition, an assessment of capacity for HPSR and analysis in seven African universities performed by the Consortium for Health Policy and Systems Analysis in Africa showed that all these universities have varying capacity assets for HPSR and analysis teaching and research, and these should be related to different capacity needs at the individual, organizational, and wider system levels [ 10].
We have shown evidence that the likelihood of experiencing difficulty is not equally distributed among the population of Ontario, and that a range of predisposing, enabling, and need factors at individual and regional levels impact difficulty accessing specialty care.
For that, we need to look at individual clades, and we need the independent method of phylogenetics (cladistics) to construct that genealogical backbone.
To do this, one needs to look at individual states of mind.
Last, based on the CHEPSAA experience, it is proposed that future systematic capacity assessments focus on both capacity assets and needs; assess capacity at individual, organisational, and systems levels; consider self-assessments using familiar data collection and analysis methods; and conduct assessments in a phased and incremental way.
Given the projected increase in the number of patients with stroke associated with the rapid aging of the population, efforts to improve the efficiency of hospitals and community services are needed at the individual hospital level but also, and arguably more importantly, through effective policies that enable reform across the entire health system.
