The original AGB datasets (RS1[15] and RS2[16]) were provided by the authors in their native projections and resolutions: 0.00833 degrees (c. 1 km) and a geographic (WGS-84) projection for RS1, and 463 m and the MODIS sinusoidal projection for RS2.
All maps were warped to a common frame of reference (UTM 18N NAD 83) ensuring minimum distortion to the native projections.

That is, if the "other" range area includes environmental conditions not represented on the native range, projections of models to those landscapes consist of genuine "extrapolation," and will be prone to diverse problems of how model rules extend into unknown environmental territory.
Even the relatively simple native-range projections that have been made about climate change effects on biodiversity have been complex landscapes, taxa, and particular climate change scenarios all affect the predicted implications of climate change for biodiversity [13], [20], [36], [37], [38], [39].

This step involves an affine transformation of each scan to the group-specific T1 template with a subsequent back-projection into the native space, followed by an automated brain extraction procedure incorporating a segmentation step to remove non-brain tissue [26].
Principal component analysis in dihedral space supports the same conclusions: As shown in the left panel of Fig. 4, the projection of the native trajectory on the plane defined by the first two principal components is dominated by a single slightly bilobal peak accounting for more than 80% of the total simulation time and corresponding to the helical structure of residues 1 7 (as shown in Fig. 1).
Scientists offer statistical projections and computer models; native hunters prefer IQ, which tells them that polar bears are everywhere.
The corresponding class averages in the different projection groups of the native and tagged datasets were manually examined to locate the position of the tag.
Class averages from each dataset were grouped by projection matching to re-projections of a filtered reference volume of the native complex using SPIDER (Shaikh et al., 2008).
