On January 30th 2015 a national workgroup was formed: Family and patient Centered Intensive Care[2] (FCIC), with the aim of achieving national alignment on this topic.
A total of 202 countries worldwide reported implementing the strategy in 2008 (1), making it highly successful in terms of national alignment.
There will be a small number of individual practices with atypical populations where a closer national alignment of QOF incentives and expected health gain does not fit the health need for those particular practices.
