So many games give us the opportunity to play from the perspective of "the good guy": on the one hand the explicitly violent ones might create a lot of moral ambiguity — that we're entertained by the carnage — but on the other hand most games provide opportunities for players to experience a really Manichean narrative assumption of good vs. evil.
