The most common treatment-related AEs (all-grade) with afatinib in the Japanese population were diarrhea (100.0%), rash/acne (100.0%), nail effects (92.6%), and stomatitis (90.7%).
This is generally consistent with the safety profile observed in the overall LUX-Lung 3 trial, although the frequency of AEs was lower in the overall population (diarrhea, 95.2%; rash/acne, 89.1%; stomatitis/mucositis 72.1% and nail effects, 61.1%).
