Recently, several studies have demonstrated that EGFR is a target of a number of miRNAs, and vice versa a mutation or activity of the EGFR signaling pathway can alter the expressions of miRNAs in lung cancer (Table 1) [ 14– 17].
Others have linked the beneficial clinical outcome of enrichment of HLA B57/5801 in long term non-progressors to impaired HIV-1 replication capacity rather than differences in CTL escape mutations or CTL activity against epitopes in Gag [16].
