Further research has found that targeting the Notch mutation in these three cancers can prompt the cells to mature and more closely resemble normal tissue cells.
Thus, none of the 40 non-relapse cases versus 18.8% (3/16) of relapse HD ALL cases already have a somatic mutation in these 3 CREBBP exons at initial diagnosis (P=0.02).
