In addition, CL and BAI genes are among the most frequently mutated genes in human cancers, with mutation frequencies of 3 and 12%, respectively (Kan et al, 2010).
The three most frequently mutated PTPs identified in the present study (PTPN21 [A8], PTPRS [C7], PTPN5 [C7]) show mutation frequencies of 17%, 12%, and 6%, respectively.
