The age effect and presence of comorbidities remained significant after multivariate analysis (OR = 8.83 95%CI 4.34-17.95; OR = 3.04, 95%CI 1.31-7.04 respectively).
Only a respiratory indication for ICU was identified as a prognostic factor of survival in the multivariate analysis (OR 0.31, 95 % CI 0.1 0.7, p = 0.006).
