In addition to this subarachnoid lesion, GRE sequences, especially SWI and PRESTO images, showed multiple lobar cortical-subcortical haemorrhagic lesions (macrohaemorrhages or MBs) (Fig. 6) [25, 25].
Probable cases of CAA on radiological examination have evidence of multiple lobar haemorrhagic events, whilst possible diagnoses only possess evidence of a single event (see Figure 2) [6].
