By combining new tracers with multimodality-imaging instruments that merge structural information and functional data, physicians can perform multiple functional-imaging assays simultaneously with anatomic analyses [ 117].
With the advent of faster sequences performed on high-performance, high field strength MRI scanners, it is possible to combine morphological and multiple functional prostatic imaging into a more comprehensive evaluation, with only a small additional time penalty.
