The range of the obtained pore diameters (316.9 μm at −20°C, 167.1 μm at −80°C, and 20.6 μm at −196°C) met the various pore-size requirements for regeneration of multiple different tissues, such as skin (optimal pore size, 20 ~ 125 μm) and bone (optimal pore size, 100 ~ 350 μm)33, suggesting that the sericin hydrogel may be broadly applicable for repair of different types of tissues.
The Horvath-based AA measure is less confounded by the relative abundance of blood cell types, which probably reflects that it was formulated from multiple different tissues and cell types.
