The code designs achieve space diversity by employing multiple antennas at both transmit ends and receive ends.
This technology uses computer processors to take the signals from multiple antennas at each location and sorts the various signals out so they don't interfere with each other.
Our approach is to maximize the system sum rate via linear transmit strategies by exploiting multiple antennas at all the involved nodes.
The current approach is to use multiple antennas at the receiver in order to improve the quality of the received signal.
Multiple antennas at the receiver will provide array gain.
Beamforming with multiple antennas at the transmit side may reduce co-channel interference.
However, this requires multiple antennas at the nodes and a database of spatial locations.
In[1], the authors first proposed to use multiple antennas at the tag and showed the performance gain by equipping multiple antennas at the reader (for both transmission and reception) and the tag.
Park et al. [5] have proposed a MAC protocol mitigating interference by using multiple antennas at the receivers.
In this way, the full channel diversity generated by multiple antennas at the tag can be maximally exploited.
