This approach introduces short (<200 μs) pulse breaks into much longer (∼8 ms) sampling windows to efficiently refocus the J-coupling interaction during detection while avoiding the deleterious effects on sensitivity inherent in rapid stroboscopic band-selective homonuclear decoupling techniques.
As shown in Fig. 1, in the traditional energy detection methods, the received signal is squared by the low noise amplifier, and then input into an integrator with period T b which is much longer than the sampling interval, so the number of energy blocks within a frame is N b = ⌊T f /T b ⌋ (⌊⌋denotes the integer part) and T f is the frame period.
The samples from manufacturer C had much longer separation times than the samples from the other manufacturers.
One such artifact could result from leakage from damaged nuclei, which could be compounded by the much longer preparation time for the nuclear samples (approximately 1 1.5 hr vs. less than 15 min for cytoplasmic samples, which were prepared from a separate flask).
The evaporation of the metal thin films was performed in a high-vacuum conditions (pressure <10−6 Torr), where the mean free path was much longer than the source-to-sample distance of our evaporator.
Although more efficient conformational sampling and much longer time-scales can be attained with CG-MD, a prime limitation is that the generated conformers are devoid of atomic details.
For both as-grown and ScCO2-treated samples, there are much longer and well-defined actin fibers noted on fibroblasts cultured on 25-nm- and smaller diameter nanotubes with respect to the larger ones.
The attenuated effect of increasing the sample duration implies that the precision of a percentile estimate does not improve as much as expected from theory when longer samples are employed.
The result in Fig. 5a shows that it needs more than 40 min for 1000 ppm NO2 desorption from CNT-planar silicon sample, which is much longer than the recovery time in CNT-SiNWs (less than 5 min).
Further studies need a larger, nationwide sample with a much longer follow-up period.
