Several participants mentioned that they did not have any issue: they were very much an Aboriginal family but they operated as anybody else would, there were no issues about talking end of life planning.
However much of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research continues to be based on national research funding (e.g. National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC)), which may not reflect local research priorities.
