"Our action must continue to be part of a comprehensive approach, based on the fight against radicalization, notably on the Internet, and on the strengthening of resources to thwart the action of the different forms of terrorist networks and notably to hamper their movement," the statement adds.
Fairey included reaching out to President Obama, going against the movement's Statement of Autonomy.
"Expect a massive frontal reaction from us because the struggle for the defense of those freedoms is the foundation of our movement," the statement read.
"The very fact that the government of America continues to view members and leaders of the African National Congress as terrorists is an affront to the global anti-apartheid movement," the statement said, adding that current President Jacob Zuma was also an ANC freedom fighter during the anti-apartheid struggle.
In response to Robbins going on about this for a moment, McCool said, "You are a leader and an influential man, and you are doing a disservice in my opinion to the #MeToo movement," a statement that was greeted with applause from the audience.
