The following mouse strains were utilized in this study: R26Tetß, Villin-rtTA (V3 and V5), R26rtTA*M2 (Hochedlinger et al., 2005), Tet-H2BGFP reporter mice (Tumbar et al., 2004), and Ngn3CreER™ (Gu et al., 2002).
