In the present study, we investigated the effects of Olig1 deficiency on experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), an animal model of MS. There are two Oligl−/− mouse lines available currently, one with a PGKneo cassette and the other with this cassette removed [12], [14].
Data for exon mRNA expression in the hippocampus of mouse lines (mainly BXD but with data from other inbred mouse lines) available at GeneNetwork were used and WebQTL [ 58] produced eQTL for genes identified above [ 30].

The mouse retinotopic map (Fig. 1) provides a model system to study topographic map formation, with an extensive range of mutant mice lines available (Frisén et al., 1998; Brown et al., 1998, 2000; Feldheim et al., 2000; Triplett et al., 2011).
One limitation of the mouse lines currently available for sparse labeling relates to the efficiency of Cre-mediated recombination, which varies substantially with different combinations of CreER source and loxP target.
We chose Ad-OVA to probe the CD8+ T cell response to the liver because this protein induces a robust CD8+ T cell response in this mouse strain and OVA antigen-specific T cells from TCR transgenic mouse lines are available for more detailed analysis on antigen-specific CD8+ T cell responses.

The Pign gnz (renamed Pign m1Nisw/J) and Pgap bkr (renamed Pgap 1m1Nisw/J) mouse lines are available from Jackson Laboratories.
Transgenic mouse lines are available in which prostate carcinomas preferentially occur (Green et al. 1998; Shirai et al. 2000), but arsenic has not been tested in these models.
Several Cre-expressing mouse lines are available, which label various cardiac cell types including neural crest (Wnt1-Cre), (pro epicardium (Wt1-Cre, Tbx18-Cre), the first and second heart fields (Nkx2-5) and the second heart fields (Mef2c-Cre, Isl1-Cre, Tbx1-Cre), the latter of which also marks a subset of the right ventricle endocardium.
Several mouse lines are available for studying Abcb1a, including targeted gene disruption (Abcb1atm1bor), a Cre/lox regulated luciferase targeted into the Abcb1a locus (Abcb1atm1Kane) and a spontaneous mutation (Abcb1amds) that has a long terminal repeat of the ecotropic murine leukemia virus inserted into an intron [ 32- 34].
