CluePedia comes with human and mouse interaction data.
In mouse interaction data, there are 13,122 kinase protein interactions between 540 kinases and 5810 mouse proteins, while 2655 kinase protein interactions were annotated between 306 kinases and 1442 proteins in rat.
As such, we show that integrating information extracted from multiple independent microarray experiments along with mouse interaction data can produce more accurate cardiac aging signatures in the form of multi-omics subnetworks (modules).

Since dataset I was only comprising of mouse PDZ-peptide interaction data, we used all the C-terminal peptides from mouse proteome as unlabeled data.
The database was also populated with Entrez Gene data and Gene Reference Into Function (RIF) files available at NCBI's FTP site (ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/; data was retrieved from NCBI on April 26 , 2007, which we filtered on their taxonomic ID for mouse entries; Gene RIF interaction data are used in constructing graphs of known interactions in StarNet.
Non-redundant functional modules were collected from a wide range of sources, including Gene Ontology [9], Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes [10] and BioCarta [11] pathways (376 modules), experimentally derived mouse protein complexes (90 modules), and mouse and human protein-protein interaction data (145 modules) (Dataset S1).
Where available, consensus lists were searched against mouse data sets containing previously reported interaction data; however, in cases where interactions were not reported in mouse data sets, human orthologues were used to model potential interactions.
