Dysfunction of the cervical spine is commonly evaluated, at least in part, using motion palpation techniques.
The results of this study indicate that even novice clinicians demonstrated the ability to correctly identify the presence or absence of known cervical spine intersegmental fixations by using specific motion palpation techniques on real patients with congenitally fused vertebrae.
