There is a region of low conservation (267 bp) upstream of mopB between the shrimp genome contig and the most probable donor genome.
The edges of the HGT fragments were determined based on the BLAST (E value ≤ 1E-5) of the genome contigs against the most probable donor genome.
In this latter study [ 28] we used a diploid population from a cross between A. duranensis and the closely related A. stenosperma, both having A-type genomes, the former being the most probable A genome donor to cultivated peanut.
It is sexually compatible with the most probable AA genome donor of cultivated peanut (A. duranensis), and therefore is an excellent genome donor candidate for gene introgression.

In this work, we identify genome regions that control different components of rust resistance in a recombinant inbred line population developed from a cross between two Arachis species, the susceptible most probable B genome ancestor of cultivated peanut, Arachis ipaënsis, and an accession of its closest relative, Arachis magna, which is resistant to rust.
Previously, a linkage map has been published using a population derived from a cross between the single available accession of the most probable B genome ancestor of peanut, Arachis ipaënsis K 30076, and a highly rust-resistant accession of the closely related Arachis magna, K 30097 (Moretzsohn et al. 2009; Shirasawa et al. 2013).
