When adjusted for other POPs (total PCBs and all other pesticides) (Model 2), most associations of lipid levels with total DDT and other pesticides disappeared.
On follow-up, these same investigators found that the most important factors influencing lipid levels were changes in disease activity and prednisone dose [ 31].
