Figure 4a shows the relative phylum abundance and Figure 4b the relative genus abundance of the most abundant genera (see Table S1 for all genera detected at bootstrap level 50%).

The GP1, 2 and 3 were all the most abundant genera in three communities, though the relative abundance of GP3 in hardwood was less than 10%.
Moraxella was found to be among the top ten most abundant genera in our population; however, the difference in abundance was not significant between the cases and controls.
The 6 studied biological WWTPs with Carrousel oxidization ditches process shared the major phyla (Fig. 1) and the most abundant genera (top50) (Fig. 2), but were dissimilar in the microbial abundance distribution.
The most abundant genera were Aspergillus (28) and Penicillium (18).

The 10 most abundant genera from Firmicutes were Ruminococcus, SMB53, Oscillospira, Clostridium, Mogibacterium, Butyrivibrio, Faecalibacterium, Lactococcus, Bulleidia, and Coprococcus.

The seven most abundant genera from Bacteroidetes were Prevotella, Bacteroides, 5-7N15, [ParabacteroidesrabaCF231ides, CF231, and YRC22.
