Since it is possible to physically and chemically mimic the in vitro environment by using microfluidic device technology, maintenance of cellular function and morphology, and replication of organ interactions can be realized using organ-on-a-chip devices.
We study in this work the effect of N-dodecyl-1,2-ethylenediamine (NDDE) on the morphology and replication of Leishmania using macrophages cultured from the peritoneal exudate of mice infected in vitro with three species of Leishmania: Leishmania (Leishmania) amazonensis, Leishmania (Viannia) brasiliensis and Leishmania (Leishmania) chagasi.
The high proportion of ORFs required to support normal morphology and replication was seen across the three categories of chaperone (Table 2), and suggests a surprising absence of redundancy within the cohort.
The first three chapters of the book provide a general review of filovirus history, laboratory methods (with an emphasis on electron microscopy), viral structure, morphology, and replication.
In Rana rugosa, the X and W and also the Y and Z chromosomes are almost identical to each other based on the morphology and replication banding patterns, respectively.

The aim of this study was to apply high resolution imaging and DNA assays to investigate the effects of penicillin treatment on chlamydial morphology and chromosomal replication early in the developmental cycle and evaluate the effect of penicillin removal.
The top 10 functions of the JU group are cell death, cancer, cell cycle, cellular growth and proliferation, tissue morphology, DNA replication, recombination and repair, small molecule biochemistry, hematological disease, tissue development and hepatic system disease (Fig. S3).
The top 5 of significantly enriched Molecular and Cellular Functions are: Cell Morphology; DNA Replication, Recombination, and Repair; Cell Signaling; Post-Translational; and Protein Synthesis (Additional file 1: Table S8).
Two main mechanisms of fossilization by mineralization are recognized: permineralization, which is the result of early infiltration and permeation of cells and/or tissues by mineral-charged water; and replication of morphology in authigenic minerals which are mainly a product of bacterial activity [ 4].
Ingenuity Pathway Analysis indicated that the genes with altered methylation in zebrafish hepatocellular carcinoma were associated with biological functions such as cell death, cell morphology, inflammatory response, DNA repair and replication and induced molecules involved in cancer formation such as c-jun, shc and pka.
The cell cycle was analyzed by determining the nucleus (N) and kinetoplast (K) configuration and showed an accumulation of 1K1N cells with the kinetoplasts having a pre-replication morphology and a reduction of cells containing a dividing kinetoplast.
