After calcination at 450 °C for 6 h and heating rate of 3 °C min−1, the morphological features became different from the precursor sample and the agglomerate size reduced greatly (Fig. 3b).
Some species on oceanic islands have (or originally had) morphological features suited to long-distance dispersal, such as barbs on fruits or fleshy edible fruits, but these features become negative adaptations for remaining on the islands and are sometimes lost (Carlquist, 1966a, b; Cody & Overton, 1996).
According to Zayan and Vauclair [4], these results may indicate that the polymorphous set of each known individual's features becomes mentally represented as a single natural category, comprising the morphological properties unique to each animal.
FIGO features became fundamental in most of the first clinically oriented approaches and automatically extracted morphological features played the major role in all automatic systems for CTG analysis [ 19, 20].
In all the above systems cells that acquired the morphological features of senescence (i.e. became enlarged and flattened) were positive for SA-β-gal (Fig. 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A).
These results support a concept that the blend was partially miscible during melt blending, at which time the gross morphological features of the blend were developed, but becomes fully phase separated upon cooling.
Taxonomists identify biological specimens by morphological features, however in some tough cases the identification becomes complex even for experts.

Morphology and microstructures of microfossils like twisted stalks or hollow sheaths become much easier to study (Fig. 2, 3, 4), and if morphological features are diffuse on one side they may be more prominent on the other side (Fig. 2C F).
As a player in multiple pathways controlling many morphological features, one could predict that Hsp90 would control the variability of many different adult phenotypes, which become more variable as Hsp90 (and Hsp90 target function) is reduced.
