Comparisons across the other cases showed that while projections from the rostral subiculum (including the genu) terminate in more ventral retrosplenial sites, e.g., in the caudomedial lobule, the caudal subiculum provides denser projections that additionally terminate in caudal and dorsal retrosplenial sites.
