So, instead of losing interest in the population level dynamics and move towards more single cell analyses, I propose biology is a system that possesses both microscopic and macroscopic dynamics, as observed in other physical sciences.
We hope our computational analyses will elicit more single-cell experimental measurement to verify the predicted dynamic behaviors.
