Since several map tasks can read entities in parallel and process them, the reduce adds one more load balancing level between the map task and the reduce task for the purpose of decreasing the overload on these tasks.
Figure 13 shows that blocking probability is effectively decreased in WWANs due to more efficient load balancing, and as a result, blocking probability is increased in WLAN (Figure 14), which shows more WLAN resource utilization due to more efficient load balancing.
A parallel version of the method is implemented using a multi-threaded approach, which allows more efficient load balancing and a simpler software architecture.

The migration of the execution context has been applied to remote execution and mobile agents, and asynchronous migration can be applied to even more applications, such as load balancing.
For non-uniformly distributed networks, MH-GA still outperforms LD, but for both algorithms, the variance increases faster due to the difference in density in the network and possible areas where sensors only can bind to one sink which makes load balancing more difficult.
Through the simulation using actual traffic traces on a backbone network of Internet2, we show that traffic engineering using the traffic information predicted by our method can set up routes that accommodate traffic variation for several or more hours with efficient load balancing.
