The ultimate goal is to contribute to assess how well evolution is being taught at school and disseminated in more informal contexts, in order to design better solutions and possible new directions to prevail over the innate causal factors that make evolution such a difficult subject to comprehend.
This study therefore aims to shed light on the following questions: to what extent do Deaf BSL users agree with their interpretation of formality using contextual information, and what are the contextual features that contribute to the development of more formal or more informal contexts?
