Results from Western blotting of FGF signaling downstream effectors (ph-ERK1/2 and ph-AKT) demonstrated rapid response (5 15 min) of these downstream effectors to FGF-2 stimulation, hence we selected 0, 5, and 15 min for a more in-depth quantitative study.
