The test establishes a p-value, the total probability of observing data as extreme or more extreme, given that the null hypothesis is true.
A p-value for a given test statistic is the cumulative probability of that value and all other values that are even more extreme, given the distribution under H 0, where H 0 typically corresponds to the hypothesis that the model you are testing is true.
