Interestingly, even though the small compound alloxan is a weaker inhibitor of hOGT than UDP and C-UDP, however, in absolute terms, in terms of ligand efficiency alloxan is a more efficient binder (BEI of 34) than UDP and C-UDP (BEI of 15 and 13, respectively).
